Seriously Eric? So you don't know about innocent until proven guilty in a court of law? You don't know about the individuals whose lives were ruined based on unfounded allegations made by Joe McCarthy and friends? You don't know about the villainization of members of a minority faith that led to the death and destruction of millions of men, women and children? You don't remember that the majority did not speak to condemn the perpetrators?

Didn't take Mitt long to alienate his hosts on his FIRST stop. Time will tell if this is what we can expect from President Mitt. A trip meant to show case Mitt's "abilities" has done just that. But one could surmise that this is NOT what he had in mind. Rather than the knowledgeable elder statesman - Mitt has cast himself as Clark Griswold in "European Vacation". What's next? Will we learn that Mitt brought his "hand held translation device" to England so he'd be able to communicate? I can't wait to hear his comments about spotted Dick.

The revolution is over. America has been done in by the masters of the multi national corporations. The constitution has been gutted and We The People have lost many of the rights that were enshrined in the Bill of Rights.

Corporations are free to do as they please - unlimited spending to sway elections as the SCOTUS determined that corporations are entitled to free speech; tax breaks and government welfare given to billion dollar corporations who are and have been profitable. They lobby to have the "boot of government" removed from their throats as they feel they should not be regulated - held accountable if they pollute, cause harm or kill.

Private contractors make billions from war so there is no incentive for us to have peace. Governments and corporations make billions from the drug war so there is no incentive to abandon the failed policy called "the war on drugs". Prisons are not set up to rehabilitate individuals who are incarcerated - there is no money in that - so once you are in you will be dehumanized by the inmates and the "guards" so when you are released you are sure to return.

Meanwhile it's blue against red, red against blue. Each one believing they have the right vision, the right answer and they know who is responsible for the "way things are" - and the noose continues to tighten around our collective necks.
