Richard M. Salsman, a contributor to Forbes, has weighed in on the gun control issue: "
...Gun control-advocates want to blame mass shootings on “too many guns,” but the real problem is far too few guns and gun freedom..."
The "commenters" in our informal, unscientific survey seem to be in agreement Mr. Salsman. This is an emotionally charged issue on both sides of the question. Your participation is appreciated and I look forward to reading more of your comments. The issue will not be settled here but this is your opportunity to let your voice be heard...

I agree with the Gun Conrol Advocates.
ReplyDeleteGiven the following pretend situation:
DeleteA gang of thugs crashes into your home late one evening and proceeds to ransack your place in search of things to steal. They don't realize that you are home in bed and they are working their way towards your bedroom. Because you have either turned in your guns, keep your guns locked away separate from your ammo or to afraid of guns to even own one, you are now scared shitless for your very life. The thugs are armed and dangerous.
Please tell us just how you plan upon defending yourself when your bedroom door gets kicked open. Sure you dial 911 but the cops never get there fast enough. At that point, wouldn't having a gun in hand be a good thing? Why are you so quick to pass laws that would prevent another person from defending against such an attack? These things happen all the time. It has happened to me! I really want to hear what you have to say on this....
